Our network of 65 charity shops play an important part in raising funds to help us support cancer patients and their loved ones in the community. However, our shops couldn’t do this without the help of our incredible volunteers. If you’d like to give a little of your time each week to help in our shops, we’d love to hear from you. Data Entry and Administration Assistant

New Role

Tenovus Cancer Care Office, Llanishen, Cardiff

Our Individual Giving Team are looking for support to help them accurately and thoroughly record information on the charity’s databases.  This volunteer role is central to making sure legacy and grant information is correctly recorded and documented. It’ll give you the opportunity to develop a range of skills and make an important contribution to our fundraising team.

 

Funding Research Assistant

New Role

Tenovus Cancer Care Office, Llanishen, Cardiff

Tenovus Cancer Care works with several charitable trusts, foundation grant giving organisations with community benefit funds and statutory bodies. We’re looking for volunteers to support our research into funding opportunities which will increase our ability to develop, support and maintain our cancer support services.

 

Asset Database Project Officer

Tenovus Cancer Care Office, Llanishen, Cardiff

New Role

Tenovus Cancer Care has over 250 staff and 1800 volunteers across Wales and England. Our IT team within the Finance and Operations department support all people with their IT needs. We’re looking for someone to research and/or purchase and implement an ‘Off The Shelf’ Asset Management solution to manage I.T. Hardware, or, if no suitable solution is available, develop one using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications. 

   

Ebay Listing Assistant

Tenovus Cancer Care Warehouse, Llanishen, Cardiff

Our eBay shop plays an integral role in raising funds. We receive lots of donated stock, from vintage clothes, retro toys and vinyl, to furniture and antiques. We’re looking for creative, meticulous and resourceful volunteers to help us market our donated goods online and get the highest possible price for them!

 

Warehouse Assistant

Tenovus Cancer Care Warehouse, Llanishen, Cardiff

We receive many donated goods and no matter how big or small, these help us to continue to provide essential care and support for cancer patients and their families, wherever and whenever they need us most. We’re looking for volunteers who’d like to play a pivotal role in helping our Warehouse team continue to handle these donations and to help keep the Warehouse running smoothly.

 

Donated Goods Collector

To travel in local community

We receive donated stock in many different ways, and this includes us collecting stock from supporters at their front door, picking up collections from local business partners and moving stock from one shop to another. We need help with all of this vital work, which needs to happen for us to raise more money to help cancer patients and their families.
