Tenovus Cancer Care is committed to keeping people affected by cancer at the heart of our thinking and discussions. We have created the All-Wales Cancer Community to engage with us on the issues that are important to them. The All-Wales Cancer Community will have a say on the decisions that are being made at a political level in Wales that will directly impact on them and other people who are affected by cancer. The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will identify opportunities for this to happen. Examples of this include, but are not limited to:
- Joint meetings with Senedd Members.
- Speaking at Tenovus Cancer Care events about personal experiences.
- Forums with lots of people from the All-Wales Cancer Community who want to take part in discussions on what is going well with cancer identification, early diagnosis, treatment, care and support, as well as what has not gone so well and what needs to happen to ensure positive change.
- Sessions to discuss Tenovus Cancer Care policy priorities to influence the government going forwards.
We want to engage with people affected by cancer from the start, helping us to bring our vision to life in a meaningful way for people affected by cancer in Wales.

Welsh Government Consultations
When Government has an idea for something they normally ask the public what they think about it. As the voice of people affected by cancer in Wales, we respond to these consultations by telling Government what we think and helping shape cancer policy for the future. We will ask the All-Wales Cancer Community to support us with our responses to Government consultations to ensure that their views are heard.
