As an organisation with research at its core, we believe it’s important to make sure that our services, health and wellbeing campaigns and other activities meet the needs of the communities we work in by evaluating them regularly. These evaluations help measure satisfaction, highlight areas for improvement and guide development in future.
We also fund research projects that are unique and diverse, but each share a common goal; to improve the lives of people affected by cancer and prevent cancer from occurring in the first instance.
Our funded researchers are asked to report on the progress of their projects and upon completion of the research. We use this information to create a report which concentrates on our research activity over the past 12 months, to demonstrate the impact our funded research is having on the wider scientific community.
