Sponsored Prison Lock Up
Thursday 12th March 2020, Llanishen Police Station, Cardiff, starts at 6pm
Do you have what it takes to face the cells? Tenovus Cancer Care is excited to be holding a Prison Lock Up to help raise funds for cancer patients and their families.
Are you brave enough to be one of our ‘prisoners’, who will have their fingers prints and mug shots taken, be given prison clothing to wear and have all home comforts taken from them, including their mobile phones!
Our Sponsored Lock Up is taking place at Llanishen Police Station and we’re looking for 16 courageous individuals that will be locked up in cold, dark prison cells from 6pm until midnight!
They will be fed prison microwaved food, be put through their paces through vigorous exercise in the dingy yard and will be questioned by the team at the station for “made-up” charges, although there may be some very small privileges for good behavior.
It will be up to the individuals to entertain themselves until their release, however all participants will be moved around the cells so will get to meet the other prisoners throughout the evening.
We ask you to aim to raise £250 sponsorship per person for this challenge (£1,000 for a team of of 4). The lock up will last from 6pm until midnight, however, prisoners may be released early for hitting fundraising target and good behaviour!
If you feel fearless enough to take on this challenge, let us know below and one of our Fundraising Team will be in touch!
