The Stampede is a tough obstacle course designed to test your endurance and speed. The course includes water, mud pits, steep banks and leg-burning inclines.
During the course you will run through the surrounding of Chepstow Racecourse and Piecefield Park, while having the chance to see stunning sections of the Wye Valley Walk.
The Chepstow Stampede has a 10k race open to those aged 18 years and above, a 5k race open to those aged 16 years and above and a ‘Mini Stampede’ open to children aged 5-9 and 10-13 years old.
The course is designed to introduce novice athletes to the challenges of cross-country running while giving more experienced runners a chance to challenge themselves.
Don’t forget to bring a spare pair of shoes. You are guaranteed to get muddy!
