North Wales Prison Lock Up
Saturday, 9th March 2019, Mold Police Station
Sorry, this event is now full. We've had an amazing response to our shout out for brave souls to face a night in the cells, and we can't wait to put them through their paces. Still want to get involved? Check out our other fantastic events here.
Do you have what it takes to face the cells? Tenovus Cancer Care is excited to be holding a Prison Lock Up to help raise funds for cancer patients and their families.
Are you brave enough to be one of our ‘prisoners’, who will have their fingers prints and mug shots taken, be given prison clothing to wear and have all home comforts taken from them, including their mobile phones!
Our first North Wales Lock Up
Our Sponsored Lock Up is taking place at Mold Police Station on Saturday 9th March. We're looking for courageous individuals to be locked up in cold, dark prison cell from 5pm until midnight.
They will be fed prison microwaved food, be put through their paces through vigorous exercise in the dingy yard and will be questioned by the team at the station for “made-up” charges, although there may be some very small privileges for good behaviour.
It will be up to the individuals to entertain themselves until their release, however all participants will be moved around the cells so will get to meet the other prisoners throughout the evening.
We ask you to aim to raise £300 sponsorship for this challenge, however, sign up as a team of 3 and raise £750. The lock up with last from 5pm until midnight, however, prisoners may be released early for hitting fundraising target and good behaviour!
Participants must be 18 or over. If you’d like more details on the event please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 029 2076 8863.
