Leave a gift in your Will

Why gifts in Wills are important

Gifts in Wills are hugely important to Tenovus Cancer Care and make up a large part of our income.

We want a future that gives anyone affected by cancer, in Wales and beyond, the best access to the treatment and support they need. A future that reduces the impact of cancer, gives people hope and helps them to live their best lives. And gifts in Wills help us do just that.

Whatever your gift, even 1% can help us give hope, help and a voice to anyone affected by cancer in Wales.

Why writing a Will is important

Writing a Will means you can decide what happens after you’re gone and gives you peace of mind knowing that your loved ones have one less thing to worry about at a difficult time.

If you don’t make a Will, the government will decide what happens to your money and assets. This could cause arguments or disputes, and even mean family members miss out. Not having a Will can cause extra stress and expense for your loved ones. By making a Will, you can make an upsetting time, a little easier.

It’s easy to put off making a Will but it’s one of those jobs we should all do. As well as making sure your loved ones are taken care of, many people also decide to leave a gift to charity, so the support for the causes they care about lives on as their legacy.

Make or update your Will for free

We offer anyone who’s 50 or over the chance to make or update their Will for free. And if you are making a Will as a couple, only one of you needs to be 50 or over.

Our research

Our cancer research is only possible thanks to generous gifts left to us in Wills. Many people choose to remember us in their Will, and
leaving us just 1% can help fund the cancer research of tomorrow.
