Tenovus Cancer Care Chief Executive awarded scholarship to Harvard Business School programme

Tenovus Cancer Care’s Chief Executive, Judi Rhys MBE, has been awarded a tuition scholarship to attend the Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management Executive Education programme at Harvard Business School (HBS).

The scholarship, awarded by Social Enterprise Scholarship Committee and made possible by an HBS donor fund, gives selected non-profit leaders the opportunity to attend a week-long executive course at this world-famous faculty.

Taking place in July 2022, leaders from around the world will participate in an intensive programme that explores crucial concepts and skills for non-profit leadership in order to create effective and high performing organisations.

Tenovus Cancer Care Chief Executive Judi Rhys, MBE, said:

To be given the opportunity to attend a programme at one of the world’s most prestigious business schools is such a privilege.

I’m a great believer in continuous learning and I’m thrilled to have the chance to explore innovative practice from around the globe about how to achieve more in efficient and impactful ways.

Like many non-profit organisations, Tenovus Cancer Care has faced a change in demand for services, along with resource and operational challenges, as we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic. I’m looking forward to implementing learning from the programme to ensure Tenovus Cancer Care is uniquely positioned to deliver positive change for people affected by cancer in Wales.
