Help NICE select topics for guidance development by joining their Prioritisation Board.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) produces guidance on the most effective ways to prevent, diagnose and treat disease and ill health, and provide social care support. It's important that they prioritise those areas of guidance development and delivery that will have greatest impact on the health and care system. To help them do this, in 2024 they set up the NICE Prioritisation Board to decide whether to select topics for guidance development. They are currently recruiting 2 new lay members to join the board to bring a perspective of patients, people who use services, and carers to selection and routing of topics.
