Vacancy: Retail Area Manager - England Shops (14 shops across Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset)
Location: Work base on retail patch with Home/Head Office working
Due to the travel requirements of the role frequent and regular access to own transport is required
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week with flexible working
Salary: £30,500 + £4,000 car allowance
Closing date: 5 May 2025Our retail network generate over £5.5million each year and work with over 900 volunteers. Our shop teams are incredibly proud of the difference they make across local communities, they work hard and they have fun.
Bringing your multi-site retail management experience to the role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering our Retail Strategy, taking accountability for all aspects of performance in your area, including income, profitability, people, customer service and standards.
Happy being out on the road and working in shops in the main you’ll be responsible for providing leadership, commercial guidance, fundraising inspiration and profitability across your area making a difference when it comes to cancer. Third Sector experience in retail isn’t essential but you need to be a great people manager, know what you’re talking about when it comes to retail management, super organised and focused on customer experience and profit in this realm.

Vacancy: Regional Fundraising Manager (North Wales Region) / Rheolwr Codi Arian Rhanbarthol (Rhanbarth Gogledd Cymru)
Location: Home based within the North Wales region. There is regular travel required across North Wales and occasional travel to our Head Office (Cardiff) for induction, training and occasional team meetings as required. IT equipment is provided, and you’ll need a suitable home working space.

Join an experienced Wales fundraising team who generate over £2.8million of annual income. Your fundraising impact is seen in people affected by cancer through the services we run, the difference to lives we make and the campaigns that make meaningful change.
It’s a great opportunity to be part of Wales’ leading cancer charity as a Fundraiser. You’ll manage raising funds across an already established North Wales region with loads of scope to generate more income and grow connections. Your region has strong supporter connections and exciting development opportunities to grow across the region in places like Wrexham, Bangor, Llandudno, Anglesey, Mold to Barmouth and Bala.
You’ll be managing and building relationships across North Wales with our supporters, Friends of Tenovus Cancer Care groups and establishing new fundraising connections and work with teams of volunteers. You can expect to manage events such as our annual Lovelight concerts, Singathons and Breast Cancer Awareness Month to name just a few.

Vacancy: Fundraising Manager (Income Generation outside of Wales)
UK Home based: Around going to work events for the role the rest of the job can be done from home anywhere in the UK. Our Cardiff Head Office is always available to you too. Most Team meetings and day to day colleague work is handled remotely but we’d expect to see you in the office for things such as our quarterly team meetings.
Permanent & Part Time Contract: 28 hours per week with flexible working
Salary: £29,600 (or £37,000 FTE)
Closing date: 14 May 2025From your UK home-base you’ll be flying the flag for the charity outside of Wales as a Fundraiser. You’ll put on quality fundraising events and build strong relationships through our reputation and Welsh links making a difference when it comes to people with cancer.
Picture being our Fundraising Manager and putting on fundraising events such as dinners and corporate sponsored events like golf or racing days. And, linking with London in Wales Week promoting networking opportunities with grant-givers, major donors, commercial, and corporate sources. Plus, you’ll help manage and set up our high value business network committees outside of Wales which we’ve already made a start on.

Vacancy: Cancer Community Engagement Officer (North Wales Region) / Swyddog Ymgysylltu Cymunedol Canser (Rhanbarth Gogledd Cymru)
Location: Home based within North Wales
Based where you live in North Wales you’ll be able to travel across North to Mid Wales regularly. There is some occasional travel to our Head Office (Cardiff) for induction, training and team meetings as required. IT equipment is provided, and you’ll need a suitable home working space.
Contract: 12 month contract working 35 hours per week with flexible working
Salary: £26,000
Closing date: 18 May 2025We’re passionate about engaging with local Welsh communities and their needs when it comes to cancer. And we not only want to represent this but promote awareness of our cancer support services to them so we can make a difference when they need our help and support most.
To support our North Wales work we’re looking to grow our network of community contacts and volunteers. So, we’ve been funded to recruit a local Cancer Community Engagement Officer to cover the North Wales region. As part of a wider Wales team, you’ll represent our North Wales community engagement work to grow awareness of Tenovus Cancer Care and build a volunteer network to help you do that.
The role’s all about finding local connections and offering solutions to bring people affected by cancer together where they live and helping them be seen, listened to and understood to get the right support they need with our help.
Working with local volunteers you’ll scope out, build and strengthen partnerships on a local and regional basis when it comes to helping our cancer communities. We work with our service users holistically at Tenovus Cancer Care. So, you’ll also refer across all our own support services such as Counselling, our nurse led Support Line, Sing With Us and our Mobile Support Units as well as with your wider departments and colleagues across the organisation.
