Tenovus Cancer Care provides cancer support, treatment and advice across Wales, helping people affected by cancer access the care they need in their communities. John is raising money and awareness for charities that supported him during the toughest year of his life

Meet Gillian

Gillian is an active member of her local Sing with Us choir and Llandudno Friends of Tenovus Cancer Care group.

Gillian took on 60 mountains in a year to celebrate her 60th Birthday while raising money for Tenovus Cancer Care. She’s an active member of her local Sing with Us choir and Llandudno Friends of Tenovus Cancer Care group.

Meet Jean

Jean joined Tenovus Cancer Care’s All-Wales Cancer Community last summer to “educate, campaign and give hope”

Jean believes that only the experiences of real people affected by cancer has the power to raise awareness of all cancers to the greatest number of people.

Meet Emma

We supported Emma through a heart-breaking 12 months where she was diagnosed with breast cancer - twice - and lost her mum to stomach cancer. After using our Support Line service, she is now looking forward to celebrating her 50th birthday “rock chick” style.

Meet Kevin

Kevin is a member of our Swansea Sing with Us choir and Volunteer of the Year 2017.

Kevin and has taken part in a many running events to raise money for the charity since 2014, including the Cardiff Half Marathon and the London Marathon. He’s raised more than £36,000 for Tenovus Cancer Care so far and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2017.

Meet Bethan

Bethan received support from Tenovus Cancer Care Nurses and Benefits Advisors after being diagnosed with breast cancer when she was just 26 years old

Thankfully, Beth’s cancer is now in remission and she’s looking forward to taking centre stage again.
