Experience of cancer or caring for someone with cancer

Researchers from Cardiff Metropolitan University would like to hear your thoughts and opinions about the use of virtual reality (VR) to support people with cancer. They are hosting a series of focus groups for people over the age of 18 in the UK who have had cancer or have supported someone with cancer. This project is being supported by Macmillan.

Focus groups are two hours long and you can participate either online or in-person at Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Llandaff Campus in Cardiff. You do not have to be acquainted with VR or know anything about VR to take part. Before the focus group discussion, you will have an opportunity to try out the VR kit if you are participating in person, or to watch a video about VR if you take part online. As a thank you for your contribution, you will receive a £20 gift voucher for taking part. By participating in the study, you are providing valuable insight that can help support the care of those experiencing cancer.

If you would like to participate in this study or would like to find out more information about this study, please follow this link.
