The University of Surrey are conducting a research study and looking for participants. This study has been approved by the University of Surrey research ethics committee (FHMS 23-24 152 EGA). This is an online questionnaire study for young adults (aged 18-39) who have ever been diagnosed with cancer.

The survey takes between 30 minutes and an hour to complete depending on your answers, and includes questions about you, your body image, strategies you may have used to improve your body image and your views on ones you haven’t tried.

The intention is that the results could help in the development of resources to help improve body image among those who need this support.

Although this study is based in the UK, the researchers are interested in the views of young adults living with and beyond cancer from across the world. If you would like to read more about the study, please click here.

Please do also share this with anyone else who might be interested in completing the questionnaire. The more people who share their views the better understanding the researchers can gain and the more useful the resources they develop are likely to be.
