Share your wedding day with us!  

Rather than asking for presents why not ask your guests to make a donation to Tenovus Cancer Care? This meaningful way to celebrate your big day will help us continue to offer cancer support, treatment and research.    

Setting up an online fundraising page like Just Giving is a popular and easy for way for your guests to donate to us. You can include the link to your fundraising page on invitations and e-invites so your guests know you’d like them to donate.

Let your guests know why you’ve chosen to support Tenovus Cancer Care by including your inspiration about why you’re passionate about us and the work we do.  Don’t forget to share the link before your big day as a reminder and include people who can’t make it so they can still donate.

Kate and Mike celebrated their wedding in December 2017 they chose to celebrate their day with Tenovus Cancer Care. 

“We are both members of the Sing with Us Merthyr Choir and although we knew each other a little bit, it was the choir that really got us together. What Tenovus Cancer Care do to support people affected by cancer cannot be underestimated. They have certainly helped us through some challenging times and so we were more than happy to 'give a little back' by asking for donations at our wedding.”

We want to know about your big day so that we can let you know about the materials that you could display on your big day to say thank you for your guest’s donations. Items like donation envelopes for you for the people that would like to make a donation on the day.

Don’t forget to mention that you’re supporting Tenovus Cancer Care and to thank your guests for their donations in the speeches. When you have the total amount raised you could include this in an email or thank you cards to all of your guests.
