In Wales, over 10% of people diagnosed with cancer will receive support from us

More people than ever in Wales are living with cancer.

We believe that the only way we can really support these people is if we understand their needs, so we work hard to ensure that we know the situation. As you can see from the information below people with cancer are experiencing unnecessarily long waits to get diagnosed and begin their treatment, which causes stress and anxiety.

Our counselling services, support line and benefits advice services can help relieve some of the pressures facing people diagnosed with cancer, and we are really proud that we are able to help more than 1 in 10 people in Wales who are diagnosed.

We will continue to monitor the situation in Wales and identify areas where we can make a difference to peoples’ lives.

If you have experience and opinions of cancer care in Wales, please consider joining the All-Wales Cancer Community so that you can share your views.
