Based in Washington DC, Lesley-Anne Long is President and CEO of non-profit organisation GBCHealth. In June 2021, she was diagnosed with a rare, stage 4 cancer and underwent extensive surgery and a chemotherapy treatment, called HIPEC. The conversation explores the impact of Covid restrictions, the availability of specialist treatments in America, and progress one-year on from such an experience.
