This study from Oxford Brookes University aims to understand the views of people who have been treated with chemoradiotherapy or radiotherapy for head and neck cancer and of those who have cared for them at home.

They want to know what support and information people have received, what was helpful and what else is needed during the difficult time immediately after treatment.

Interviews with study participants, either online or on the telephone, lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour, will include questions about their use of digital support at this time and the information required. Interviews will be audio-recorded and analysed.

This understanding will help guide the development of a digital information and support resource during a series of online study participant workshops.

Once an early version of the resource has been developed, they will ask patients and caregivers to test it, and refinements will then be made.

They would like to hear from those treated for head and neck cancer, or caring for those treated, within the last two years in the UK who would like to help develop support for future patients and caregivers.
