10 Y Fan

Join Tenovus Cancer Care for a truly unique challenge, climbing Pen Y Fan, not once, not twice but ten times!

10 Y FAN is as simple and devilish as it sounds. With Pen Y Fan being the highest mountain in South Wales, it remains a challenge and an achievement just to reach the top.

10 Y Fan has upped this challenge to well... 10!

The Challenge

Pen Y Fan is 2,907 ft and Everest is 29,029 ft, so you could say that completing 10 Y Fan is the equivalent of climbing Everest… tenuous maybe, but it just shows the enormity of achieving the full ten climbs!

You don’t need oxygen, snow boots or a tent though, just a determination to complete as many climbs as you want in 24 hours.

10 Y Fan is for everyone, and whether you complete one climb or ten, it’s an amazing accomplishment. We will support and encourage you on every step of your journey and do our best to make your 10 Y FAN something to remember. What we can promise is a unique experience.

We start early evening and continue through the night for a 24-hour period.

You get to see a side of Pen Y Fan that many don’t, including (if we’re lucky with the weather) an uninterrupted view of the night sky and breaking dawn.

So join Team Tenovus Cancer Care for this unique experience and support all those affected by cancer.
