Tenovus Cancer Care's Lovelight Christmas Concerts are now in their 14th year!
These special concerts are designed to support people affected by cancer, and to give families and friends an opportunity to come together safely to remember loved ones lost. We’re pleased to announce that we’re bringing back our festive Lovelight concerts this December, and we hope you can join us! This year, we’ll be hosting four concerts at the following venues on the below dates:
- Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff - 3rd December
- St Woolos Cathedral, Newport - 2nd December
- St Asaph Cathedral, St Asaph - 9th December
- St Mary’s Church, Swansea - 9th December
You’ll be able to enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with wonderful performances, including your local Sing with Us choir, festive readings, and of course, a special candlelit moment in remembrance of loved ones. We will be announcing our acts in due course so keep your eyes peeled!
With all the uncertainty the pandemic continues to bring, we know that this year’s celebrations will be a little different to previous years, but we hope you can still support Tenovus Cancer Care and those affected by cancer this Christmas.
We want to keep everyone as safe as possible at our concerts so we’ll be following Covid-19 restrictions and will ask the audience to wear a mask, stay a safe distance apart and enter your details on track and trace system. This might also mean that the audience capacity will be less than in other years, so please do get your tickets beforehand to avoid disappointment before they sell out.
The money raised from our concerts will help cover the cost of our services like our Support Line (0808 808 1010) that’s there for anyone affected by cancer, 365 days a year, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day!
We look forward to giving you a very warm welcome at our Lovelight concerts.
