Tenovus Cancer Care today welcomes Welsh commitment to publish long-awaited NHS Cancer Services Action Plan

Tenovus Cancer Care today welcomes a commitment by Welsh Government to publish a long-awaited NHS Cancer Services Action Plan to support all affected by cancer by the end of the year.

Chief Executive Judi Rhys, MBE, said:

It’s excellent news that there will be an NHS Cancer Services Action Plan published later this year. We look forward to working with Welsh Government and Wales Cancer Network to develop and implement this.

Our contribution will be directly influenced by people affected by cancer through our All-Wales Cancer Community so that people affected by cancer have a strong voice in the decisions that impact them.

Wales is long overdue a long-term plan for cancer and behind other nations in the UK. Tenovus Cancer Care will bring the voice of people affected by cancer to drive the changes needed to make a real difference, not just now, but for future generations.
