Strictly star, Amy Dowden, joins as Patron

I am proud to become a Patron of Tenovus Cancer Care, a cause very close to my heart. My Mum had thyroid cancer and breast cancer when I was younger, and it was tough to watch her go through it.

“It’s important to remember the affect cancer has on the whole family – it can be just as difficult watching your loved one go through it, and that can take a toll on everyone’s health. That’s why I want to support and raise awareness of the range of services available to everyone at Tenovus Cancer Care.

“I had a wonderful time recently co-hosting The Welsh Variety Extravaganza in aid of the charity’s 80^th anniversary. It was amazing to get an insight into its achievements and rich history in Wales and I’m delighted to be a part of its future.”
