We have 16 Sing with Us choirs across Wales, with at least one in every health board area, supporting people affected by cancer by helping them to socialise and find a supportive network of friends, as well as giving them something fun and fulfilling to be part of.
We wanted to make sure that our choristers, their families, and their friends know what we can offer, as well as singing, so we are excited to host a series of Connect events this spring!
These events are a way to connect all of our support services together and showcase what the charity has to offer. We want to run the event at each choir venue on their rehearsal evening and have a 45 minute ‘one stop shop’ with stalls, where visitors can come and talk about each service and gather information.
This would be followed by a short, fun, choir rehearsal that visitors can join in with or just sit and watch. At the end of the session there will be a sharing of the song that has been learnt. It will be open to any member of the public and we would love our choristers to bring along their friends and family!
The first three events will take place on the following dates, and we will be booking more in soon so watch this space:
- 18th April in Llanidloes, Trinity Church, Short Bridge Street, SY18 6AD
- 24th April in Wrexham, St. Margaret's Church, Chester Road, LL11 2SH
