Further information about the project:
A Cardiff University and Velindre NHS Trust PhD project is exploring the experience of exercise and physical activity in people having certain types of treatments for lung cancer. The research aims to find out what information lung cancer patients want about physical activity and exercise, so that healthcare professionals can make sure they are providing it.
The PhD project will involve asking participants to complete a short number of questions about exercise and physical activity and a further optional interview with the researcher.
The feedback provided through the survey detailed in this opportunity will be used to help ensure that the 2 sheets provide clear information in terms of what participants signing up to be involved in the project will be expected to do, but also that it encourages people to take part. The written information is planned to be given to people to help them decide if they want to take part in the research project.
