If you are a Powys resident living with or supporting someone with cancer this opportunity is for you.

The Improving the Cancer Journey in Powys (ICJ Powys) programme is seeking some new recruits to join it’s Journeying Together Forum. The forum was set up in September 2020 and currently has around ten members. They’d like to grow it further during Phase II of the programme and would welcome some more men joining.

Forum members meet up every other month online and help influence decisions that impact people living with cancer, share their stories, give views, and help to coproduce marketing materials.

ICJ Powys was set up in late 2019 and aims to give anyone with a diagnosis the opportunity to have a supportive “what matters” conversation with a trained local link worker about their needs following a cancer diagnosis.  The link worker then helps that person to access the support and services which would help their wellbeing whether that’s emotional, financial, or practical support.
