You may have heard about the UK Government's proposed cuts to the benefits system, which will affect all of the UK nations. They have launched a consultation on their proposed changes, and Marie Curie have created a handy template to make it easier for your voices to be heard.

It's vital that the UK Government understand how these changes might impact terminally ill people and their loved ones.

Marie Curie want to make sure that terminally ill people have enough income to live their life well until the end, are protected from cuts, and are not forced to participate in "return to work" schemes in order to receive the benefits that they need.

You can feed into Marie Curie’s response by clicking here, focussed on the changes which will directly affect people with terminal diagnoses or their loved ones.

The changes affect everyone who accesses benefits, so if you’d like to have your say more broadly, you can also feed into the consultation directly.
