Born in Bridgend, South Wales, Aled Davies is a Paralympic champion, world record holder and MBE. From a young age he enjoyed sports, representing Wales at swimming. In 2005 he turned his attention to athletics and specifically the shot put and discus. His career has gone from strength to strength with numerous Paralympic, World Championship and Commonwealth successes to his name. Away from athletics, he took part in series 3 of the Channel 4 programme Celebrity SAS: Who dares wins.
